I am delighted to have been appointed by the board of Governors in April 19. I expressed an interest in the Governors for Schools network as I really want to utilize my experience to make a difference. In my current role as Managing Director for the property services division of a Housing Association, I deal with families and residents including dealing with safeguarding and vulnerability on a daily basis and I am excited to be able to use that experience in improving the future for our children. I bring over 20 years’ experience of operating at board and Senior Management level delivering repairs and compliance contracts nationwide. This role includes full responsibility for setting the business strategy as well as day to day accountability for the operational and financial performance of the business.

Contacting Governors

If you would like to contact any of our Governors please send a letter for their attention via the School Office.

Parents are asked to put their requests or complaints in writing to the Governing Body; most Governors are not based in school and generally only meet formally once each half term.

If you have any questions about our Governing Body, please do not hesitate to contact Mrs Jane Brown (Clerk to Governors).  Our Governors are volunteers from the community who work together to ensure that the school is well managed.  The Headteacher and staff representatives are also members of the Governing Body.

Over the next academic year, changes will be made to the structure of our Governing Body as the Federation process begins in September 2020.
